Simple to read, effects for life!

For those who always wondered methods on how to say hard and have multiple male orgasms, this book explains how and what you should do to get them. Simple text, interesting drawings. I actually pick up the book all the time and read a bit just to refresh my mind. I am really into the spiritual aspect with the tantra focus and this gave both. How to do it and how to do it even further with a more spiritual methods. Awesome!

About the Author
J. Chris Leach is professor of finance and the Robert H. and Beverly A. Deming Professor in Entrepreneurship at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He received a finance Ph.D. from Cornell University, began his teaching career at the Wharton School, and has served as a visiting professor at Carnegie Mellon, the Indian School of Business, and the Stockholm Institute for Financial Research. Dr. Leach's teaching experience includes courses for undergraduates, MBA students, executives, and Ph.D. students. He has been recognized as Graduate Professor of the Year and has received an award for MBA Teaching Excellence. His research on a variety of topics has been published in The Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Business, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, among others. Dr. Leach's business background includes various startups dating back to the 1970s. More recently, he served as chairman of a New Mexico startup and, as an investor and advisor, participated in a late 1990s Silicon Valley startup that subsequently was merged into a public company. His consulting activities include business plan advising, valuation, and deal structure for early stage and small businesses.

Ronald W. Melicher is professor of finance and chair of the Finance Division at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He earned his undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. At the University of Colorado, he has received several distinguished teaching awards and was designated as a university-wide President's Teaching Scholar. Dr. Melicher also has held the William H. Baugh Distinguished Scholar faculty position, served two terms as chair of the Finance Division, served as the faculty director of the Boulder Campus MBA Program, and was the academic chair of the three-campus executive MBA program. Dr. Melicher teaches corporate finance and financial strategy in the MBA and executive MBA programs and investment banking to undergraduate students. While on sabbatical from the University of Colorado, Dr. Melicher has taught at the INSEAD Graduate School of Business in Fontainebleau, France, and at the University of Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland. He has presented expert witness testimony on the cost of capital in regulatory proceedings and has provided consulting expertise in the areas of financial management and firm valuation. Dr. Melicher has published articles in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and Financial Management.

Good but Painful

Snapshot of me: Magna Cum Laude from Temple University in Philadelphia. Did well in math, nothing less than an A-. Currently have a 3.83 in my MBA program at Syracuse. Military officer and have been successfully running a business for over 3 years. The book has great information in it; the author displays a mastery of the material. As happens with many super-smart people, it that they have a hard time communicating with the average person. This happens across all walks of life and this book is a great example of that. I could not get through this book without my professor. The material is not presented in an easy to digest manner. The reading is dense and the formula's get rearranged on the fly without explanation. I have microeconomics with a book from McGraw Hill that breaks it down another difficult subject smoothly and efficiently. Students have dropped the course because of the book, and many are struggling. Again, without my professor, many of us could not get through the material. On the contrary, if you are a wiz with this kind of stuff, than you will probably do much better than me.

Bottom line: DO NOT use the book WITHOUT a GOOD professor. This is disappointing because once the information is extracted, it is great stuff. Lesson: keep it simple.

Awful Textbook

If your class uses this book, think seriously about taking another class. I learn best from textbooks ... and I couldn't learn from this one. It is extremely poorly written, does not follow any logical pattern, and the help resources are non-existent. I have never been more frustrated attempting to do assignments for a class than I have been using this textbook. Unfortunately I can't rate it a zero.

Used this book for Entrepreneurial Finance at Keller School of Grad Management. This book is the worst. It has the potential to be a great book, but the concepts were POORLY explained. Excellent Stories for Teen Girls and Those Who Still Are if Only in Our Hearts

This is the second book in the Valiant Hearts series. I love the strong female characters that the author casts in roles and settings usually restricted to male characters. Kudos to Sleiman for creating fictional role models for young women who wish to follow their hearts instead of society's strictures. The girls in these stories are strong, savvy, and fight for what they believe in. As the mom of a teenage daughter - this is the type of role model that I want my daughter to read about. They make great crossover reading for adults as well. Come on - how many of you women out there would have loved to be Robin Hood or a Knight of the Round Table when you were young? I'm sure I'm not the only tomboy out there.

In any event - I would recommend this book to readers who like strong female characters, whether you're a teen or just love to read YA books. I'm excited to see what comes next in the series!

Chivalrous is book two in Dina L. Sleiman’s Valiant Heart series. I loved Dauntless, but I gotta say . . . this one is even better! Ms. Sleiman has stepped up her game (jousting perhaps?!) and given us an Arthurian-inspired medieval story filled with believable characters and a plot packed with twists you won’t see coming.

It’s well-written and filled with vivid imagery, putting you in the middle of the Camelot-like kingdom. I found myself cheering Gwennie and Allen on while wanting to clash my sword with the brute Gawain! This delightful tale will keep you turning the pages until you reach the end.

I give Chivalrous five lances!

It’s one jousting tournament you will want to keep your eyes fixated on. You don’t want to miss a thing!

Those rising by the sword, may too plunge via the blade

Ah, the pungent smell of sweat through chain mail. Dina L Sleiman's "Chivalrous" novel is so descriptive that period aromas nearly purge from the pages. Furlongs beyond a shotgun wedding story; Sir Allen (from book one) finds true heart-throbbing romance at the tip of a broadsword. This followed him having first been grounded off his steed by the jousting lance of Lady Gwen. Mayhap to be expected from a peasant upstart. Truly fun Medieval lore.
"The heart is a fickle organ. And the truth wears many faces." Book quote.

Dina L Sleiman writing rocks. She weaves into her Middle Ages storytelling the then-progressive interpretations of scripture, with the Protestant lean, as discussed by laymen, gentry, and scholars of the times. True to those times, Christianity was rapidly growing in favor. This author incorporates it well, as historic content--nay an author sermon. Read and be girded in the age of pilgrimage and religious relic guests.

Not just a teen fiction book. I'm aged 5 X a teen and loved the tale of damsels, dungeons, Knights, battle action, and multiple detailed jousting events. Although Dina L Sleiman writes ample past characters' relationships from book one to allow this story to be read as a stand alone, I strongly recommend reading her "Valiant Hearts" debut first.
