Edward M. Curtis (Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania) is professor of biblical studies and theology at Talbot School of Theology. A specialist in Old Testament wisdom literature, Curtis has written a commentary on Song of Songs and study notes on Job, and has co-authored Transformed Thinking: Loving God with All Your Mind.

Recommended reading

This insightful and thought-provoking work was written in a manner that reduces seemingly difficult concepts into easily digestible morsels. I recommend it for group studies, because the Questions For Further Consideration after each chapter provide for lively discussion and an exchange of ideas and information. The book was written by an educator and accurately hits the mark in teaching us how we learn, how our opinions are formed, and how we can further develop our thought process as we pursue a knowledge of God. ugh! too hard to read.

This book while insightful is difficult to read. This is used for a college class and all of the students found it difficult to understand the writing. Read it with a dictionary on hand and don't even expect to find all the words you are looking for.
